I’ve just finished up this very muted and dreamy toned painting of Fulvous Whistlers. I am loving playing with light and reflection.
Growing up with a Dad who simply cannot get enough of fishing and boats and water, my childhood memories included hours and days dangling our feet between the bars at the front of his boat coasting the lakes and rivers to find the best spots. I would focus on the reflection of the sun off the water until all I could see where fields of diamonds. I still do it. This earth is utterly beautiful when you view it from the right angle.
