Sleep while your baby sleeps they said. Typical of a new parent, I signed up to a solo exhibition a few months prior to having Alexi thinking my child would just fit into my lifestyle. How very wrong I was, hence a handful of paintings that year titled along the lines of ‘While you were sleeping.’
