There is more paint on this canvas than any other canvas i have ever painted on! Layers and layers and layers… THICK thick thick!

It has been a challenge!

(Underneath this all, there is a lovely pair of Meyers parrots, then a flock (a flock!) of carmine bee eaters, … that if you knew what you were looking for could still spot) and finally these lovely weavers I got to watch at Mopani Farm, Tuli block, Botswana.

You have never seen such extraordinary nests. Some of them a meter or so tall! I chose not to paint the meter long nests.
